Lowell H. & Verna K. Watts 4-H Scholarship

The Lowell H. and Verna K. Watts 4-H Scholarship was endowed by Lowell H. Watts who dedicated much of his life work to Colorado State University Extension. The scholarship will provide $1000 to a CSU student who was a former 4-H member to further their education abroad in the forms of study, fieldwork, practicum, internships, research abroad, or other experiential learning which advances the student’s academic and professional aspirations related to international development. Applicants must be enrolled at Colorado State University, have completed at least five years of 4-H, accepted to an international program or experiential learning opportunity, have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be willing to share their learning from the international experience with a 4-H audience upon completion. Two letters of recommendation are required (one can be from your county extension specialist).
